The bridal suite
Woodhall Manor has a bridal dressing suite on site, where you can get ready the morning of your wedding. The room is full of character and history and set up with a dressing table and large mirrors for your benefit.
Something to note; it's relatively small so a larger bride squad might be a squeeze, and we find some areas are quite dark so flash might be required to achieve bright, clear, vibrant photos.
Outdoor wedding ceremony
Outdoor wedding ceremonies are an ideal way to use natural light to achieve natural photos, so an outdoor ceremony in the summer months (or even autumn if you can brave it) is a must at Woodhall Manor. There is plenty of space for all your guests to witness your vows and you can decorate the area to match the style of the day.
Alternatively, there are many rooms inside you can take your pick from, for an intimate cosy ceremony.
Perfect portraits
Woodhall Manor is a fairytale wedding venue with charm and grace. The grounds are amazing front and back with tree-lined pathways, a fountain and even the building is an impressive backdrop in itself. Every direction you turn are stunning views, perfect for your natural wedding photography.
If your wedding portraits are important to you, give plenty of time throughout the day to explore and utilise all the beautiful views.
Rooms Galore
As you can imagine, you have your pick of rooms at Woodhall Manor. Between the main house and the beautiful out-buildings, you can dedicate different rooms for each part of the day. This is beneficial in the event of rain and needing to do photos inside!
Another benefit we find of having separate rooms is that some guests who want a quieter evening can enjoy a drink away from the loud music. We do strongly suggest having two photographers though to cover all areas.

Securing your wedding photographer should ideally follow once your venue and caterers are booked. Due to high demand, we encourage you to reach out as early as possible, as our schedule tends to fill up quickly—sometimes up to two years in advance.
That said, we have a soft spot for intimate, last-minute weddings and are more than willing to accommodate these with just a few months' notice. Whatever your timeline, we're here to capture your day beautifully.

Yes, we primarily serve areas within a 35-mile radius of Manningtree, which includes stunning wedding venues in Coggeshall, Woodbridge, Mersea Island, Bury St Edmunds, Colchester and Ipswich.
For venues beyond this point, a nominal travel fee may apply. We're committed to capturing your day wherever it is, so please don't hesitate to discuss your specific location with us!
