Features of your online gallery

Compare images and select your favourites

Your online gallery holds many great features that can help you manage your photos and aid you in ordering them. Many are not utilised to their full potential so here is a guide on what they are and how to use them to make the most out of your online viewing experience. Aside from seeing your photographs, your gallery allows you to explore different colour options, guides you in the cropping that may occur and even allows you to compare images side by side to help you pick the best one for you…

Black and white

When you click on an image to open it and see the product options, at the top there is a little icon that says ‘filter’. Click this and beneath it you should find the option to view the picture in the original colour and in black and white. To order it in black and white, simply select the black and white button and then choose a print size and add it to your cart. If you would like to order it in colour, make sure you select ‘original’ again before adding it to your cart. Please note: this is just a guide to give you an idea of how it might look – the actual contrast etc on the final image might be slightly different.

Cropping

The print sizes we offer are standard print sizes of frames readily available in any shop. However, the size ratio of each print can be different from the original image. This means that cropping may occur. When you select a print size, the image will appear on the right hand side of the page with greyed out areas over the image to give you an idea of how much of the photograph will be cropped out in print. If the amount of cropping is too severe, try a different print size. If the crop is in the wrong place you can click ‘adjust crop’ below and reposition where to crop the picture.

Compare

If you have two or more pictures that are similar to each other but are not side by side in your gallery, you can make use of the ‘compare’ tool. Simply click the ‘compare’ icon above an image which looks like a flag, then find another image and click ‘compare’ also. Just below this, a new menu will appear where you can choose to ‘compare photos’. The images will open in an enlarged view where you can slide across to compare them. This feature works for comparing multiple images too. To get back to the main gallery, click ‘view’, then you can ‘clear all’.
